Banquo asks of his fate and is told that his sons will be kings. short after this Macbeth finds out that the thane of Cawdor betrayed Scotland and is going to be hanged, for his bravery in contend the king Duncan makes Macbeth Thane of Cawdor. Macbeth sees the witches predictions coming true and tells his wife about the predictions. Duncan announces that he is going to Macbeths castle. Lady Macbeth convinces Macbeth that he has to fulfill his prophecy himself and sweep away Dunncan. Duncans sons leave the country believing they will be killed conterminous and Macbeth becomes king. Macbeth remembers the witches prediction to Banquo. He indispensabilitys to solidify his power so he kills Banquo and attempts to kill Banquos son Fleance, but fails.
